About

The Alameda Legacy Home Tour is a joint fundraising venture of the Alameda Architectural Preservation Society (AAPS) and the Alameda Museum.

CELEBRATE ALAMEDA’S GLORIOUS HISTORIC HOMES.

Alameda is blessed with over 4000 buildings on the Historic Study list, including many architectural styles. Our two organizations have been helping homeowners and business people appreciate the historic nature of their properties and learn restoration techniques that will bring buildings back to their original splendor.

HOME TOURS CELEBRATE PRESERVATION EFFORTS

No home tour would be possible without generous homeowners who graciously let visitors enjoy their antique and art collections and appreciate their restoration efforts.

We have collaborated on 34 Home Tours since the 1970s. The annual tour of historic homes is the most significant fund raising effort for both AAPS and the Alameda Museum.

Alameda, with its beautiful architecture and tree-lined streets is truly one of the best places to live in the Bay Area. Visit, take the tour, and find out for yourself.
